In 1972, Vietnam Veteran Buz Hinnant began working as a greenhorn electrician for an electrical services contractor.
Since that time, he has worked as both a full-time employee and an independent contractor for reputable firms including
Conoco-Phillips (Pipeline Division) and Zachry Construction Corporation.
Finally in 2020, as a Master Electrician with nearly a half of a century’s worth of experience under his belt, Buz decided to try retirement, but it was a short-lived decision. After having dedicated the better part of the last 50 years of his life to his work as an electrician, Buz quickly realized he couldn’t simply stop doing what he loves to do. For him, it didn’t make sense and it didn’t feel right.
And, that is the story of how Buz Electricz Workz, originally established in 2005 as a part-time business, became a full-time contracting company. When you choose Buz Electricz Workz, you are choosing to work with a company that is sustained by profit, but fueled by passion and powered by experience.

Buz did an excellent quality job in installing a portable generator connection box along with installing a new 30 amp breaker. He had to move some existing beaker fuse block to install a slide mechanism that would ensure that the main 200 amp power breaker was turned off to allow the generator breaker to be on. Buz was very knowledgeable with 40 years of experience and a Vietnam veteran who served out country. I am highly recommending Buz. Also the cost for his work is very fair and reasonable. You will be very happy if you chose Buz for your work.
